1981 250 Maico

Purchased from the original owner. Overall the bike was in good shape but the cosmetics were something else!

The motor is still standard bore but was stripped down. Re-did the rod as it had indexed on the crank pin, put on a new primary chain, new bearings and new seals & gaskets.

The carb was boiled out and new jets were installed along with a new slide.

New chains and sprockets were also installed

I used the original rims but just re-spoked them and did the typical things like re-cut the drums with over size linings, strip and paint the frame and put on new plastic and graphics.
